From the supplier: Toronto, Ontario-based Grafco continues to maintain its lead in the custom profile lamination business with sales of $4 million in 1995. The key to its success is in the use of polyurethane hotmelt adhesives for laminating polyvinyl chloride profiles, the first company ever to use such technology. Although it began as a manufacturer of aluminum windows in 1964, it shifted to the lamination business in 1994 to take advantage of the opportunities in plastic window manufacturing. It began exploring the application of hotmelt technology in 1992 and has then devoted much effort and money to create PVC windows.
